The cactus you might have seen on your travels to Italy, Sicily, Malta. I grew up eating the prickly pear from the cactus, a unique fruit that my Nannu would have ready for us on Easter Sunday. His backyard is full of them and whenever I visit, I like to wander around the property admiring the natural beauty and colours of the prickly pear.
